USE DOUBLE-FOOT TAKE-OFF;

KEEP KNEES IN CLOSE GOING UP (a);

SNAP HEAD DOWN TO GET HIPS UP AND INTO SPIN (a);

OPEN UP AND ARCH ONTO FEET TO STOP SPIN AND LAND (c and d).

ASSISTED SOMERSAULT OVER KNEES

HINTS TO BEGINNERS: This is not a handspring from the knees. The performer does not kick up. The assisted somersault from the knees is done with a double-foot take-off, and the head is snapped forward instead of back.
